A touring caravan is a mobile home on wheels that can be towed behind a vehicle. A caravan doesn’t contain an engine or driveshaft and isn’t a a vehicle in its regards.
Touring caravans have a wide variety of sizes, shapes and types of models. Typically touring caravans have sleeping quarters, a kitchenette and living quarters. They can also include working appliances, a toilet and shower and even a heating system.
Usually, tourer caravans need to be connected to the gas mains or a gas cylinder as well as an electrical grid or power supply for the majority of their features to work.
